This is a bookcase that I put in my dining room. I bought it from Crate & Barrel years ago because I loved its soft green color and its shape. It holds my collection of pink chintzware. I decided to edit it down a little bit and take some pieces away because I thought it was looking too crowded. Even though I have more than I need (I haven't shown you the other pattern!), it won't stop me from buying more. The problem is I'm going to have to store new pieces in a cupboard because I really don't have (much) display room left! Just ask my husband, he'll tell you...

Pink Things

I love pink. It has always been my favorite color. So, when I heard about a site called Cute Pink Stuff, well I had to visit! Here is a picture of what arrived on my doorstep earlier today. The chubby bird with the rose on her tail is a votive holder. The other two will make either excellent doorstops or paper weights. They're heavy! Cindy is the owner of www.cutepinkstuff.com. I've already got a wish list started in anticipation of my next order. Definitely check her out! The desk caddy in the background is from www.KatiesRoseCottage.com. What I Did on My Summer Vacation

I've spent a lot of time this summer (too much time, truth be told!), redecorating and rearranging my cozy little town home. I've had a great time visiting thrift stores, flea markets, and garage sales searching for that perfect shabby cottage must-have. I found many "most haves"!
